I bet he his thinking about his own future.
Maybe he will have is own little family in 10 years.
And he would come home after a long day at work and open their apartment door, put the keys on the table next to the door and then he’d hear it.
Loud laughter echoes from their living room. The corner of his mouth would curl up into a smile while he’d  loudly say
「I’m home!」 which causes the laughter to stop, and instead of it a high little voice would should 「PAPA YOU’RE HOME!」.
And before he could even take a step into his living room a small figure would run into him and hug one of his legs. He would laugh and kneel down to hug his little daughter properly. Stroking her back lovingly and she would whisper in his ear 」 I missed you, Papa.」 Kurt would sigh and say 「I missed you more, honey.」
And while the two of them hugged each other they’d hear a third voice.
「Aww, now I’m getting jealous.」
Kurt would look up just to see his husband leaning at the door frame with the wide grin on his face, that he loved so much. Blaine.
